B.fest x Exploring Senses: Heat Press vinvl fashion and textiles workshop: Sunday 25th May 2-5pm
Today we provided a free Heat Press vinyl tee shirt design workshop at BYC as part of the B.fest arts festival for young people in Brighton and Hove.
The workshop was attended by 15 young people who made some amazing designs by hand and digitally using hand drawings, which are scanned and converted to vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator, then cut out of vinyl digitally using the Roland GX24 Vinyl Cutter.
The workshop was very busy, and we had a couple of tech issues, so unfortunately no photos were taken on the day.........
We plan to use the vinyl cutter and heat press vinyl to create our own bespoke heat press vinyl repeat pattern fabric designs. In the mean time Hannah is going to experiment with making a Mickey mouse head out of the Kai and Sunny fabric we have been given.
